Connecting Your Meta Account
Connect your Meta Ads account so we can publish directly to Facebook and Instagram.
From the builder, choose Connect Meta and complete Meta's OAuth flow. Sign in with the Facebook account that manages your Business Manager, then pick the ad account AdCat should publish to. After approval, we save a token for that account—you usually won't need to sign in again for each publish.
We request ads_management to create and edit campaigns, ads_read to pull performance for reports, and business_management so we can locate the correct ad accounts and Pages. Meta shows every scope before you approve; we never use access to post as your Page, message customers, or read unrelated personal data.
Tokens sometimes expire—password changes, inactivity, or an admin removing the app typically cause it. You may see an in-product banner plus an email. Use Reconnect Meta and repeat OAuth; drafts and paused campaigns resume from where they left off after you reconnect.
